Dan Radmacher

Dan Radmacher is Communications Director of the Appalachian Center for the Economy & the Environment . Prior to joining the Center in April, Radmacher was the editorial page editor of *The Roanoke Times* in Virginia. He joined The Times as an editorial writer and columnist in 2005 and was promoted to editorial page editor in 2006. Radmacher completed his master's degree at the Missouri University Graduate School of Journalism in 1989 and for 10 years was the editorial page editor of the Charleston Gazette, West Virginia’s largest daily newspaper. He has also worked for the Sarasota (Fla.) Herald-Tribune.
