Physician, LGBT health and HIV/AIDS advocate
Daniel O'Neill completed his medical school training at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC, where he was both a 2011 National Health Service Corps and Point Foundation Scholar. He is currently completing his residency in internal medicine at the George Washington University Hospital with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS and LGBT health.
Prior to medical school he worked for the Institute of Medicine's Roundtable on Evidence-Based Medicine. He completed his MBA in biotechnology enterprise at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and has since worked at the intersection of policy, business, and medicine to improve healthcare quality and safety. In the past he has written for the Washington Blade, Frontiers in LA, and was a regular contributor to the Bilerico Project, covering issues on HIV/AIDS and LGBT health disparities.
