Danielle Belton is the blogger/online campaigns manager for New Security Action, a new organization dedicated to fighting for a progressive, smart national security policy.
Belton is also freelance journalist, artist, blogger and self-described nerd “hobohemian,” currently living in Washington, D.C. Born and raised in St. Louis, Mo., she has written for several newspapers and online publications including The American Prospect, Essence Online, The Root and the Bakersfield Californian. She’s also a cartoonist and, quite pathetically, an art school drop out. She maintains a topical/political/humor blog, “The Black Snob.”
