Davar Iran Ardalan is a senior producer for NPR midday-news program Tell Me More, where she oversees the live broadcast and leads its social media campaigns. Ardalan first came to NPR in 1993, and has since worked as a producer for the morning newsmagazines Morning Edition, Weekend Edition Saturday and Weekend EditionSunday. Ardalan began her public media career in 1991 at NPR member station KUNM, in Albuquerque, N.M., where she worked as a reporter covering stories on the environment.



Ardalan is the is the mother of four and the author of The Persian Square, a multimedia e-book that chronicles the history and contributions of Iranian-Americans in the U.S; and My Name Is Iran, a memoir of her family life from Iran, to America.
