David J Galbreath

Professor of International Security at the University of Bath and Editor-in-Chief of the journals European Security and Defence Studies. My research is on contemporary European security and defence with a particular interest in military reform, force transformation and the international politics of the former Soviet Union. I am currently researching two projects funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) on drivers of military reform as well as changes in biological and chemical weapons.

I am a member of the OSCE Group of Experts as well as Advisory Board Member at the European Centre for Minority Issues in Flensburg, Germany.
