David Michael Barrett is the screenwriter/producer of the acclaimed indie comedy "Such Good People," starring Michael Urie and Randy Harrison, which premiered at the Miami GLFF in the summer of 2014 and is currently playing festivals worldwide. http:www.SuchGoodPeopleMovie.com

He is also the screenwriter/producer of “Bad Actress,” an award-winning dark comedy about a has been TV star who restarts her career by murdering her husband. Distributed by Strand Releasing, "Bad Actress" is available on Hulu, Netflix and iTunes.

David's play, "Brentwood," was included at Noah Wylie's Blank Theater Company's Living Room series of new works, and his work was also featured in Outfest's prestigious screenwriting lab.

David has written for non-fiction essays, satirical political websites, and yes, reality television. He has taught at the International Academy of Film and Television, where he sits on their advisory board.
