David Wildman

David Wildman is a longtime Boston Globe music/arts columnist and film writer. He’s also contributed to the Boston Phoenix, Boston Magazine, Timeout Boston, New York and Tokyo, served as arts editor of The Weekly Dig and was a member of the Boston Society of Film Critics. His debut novel, The Book of Enemy, was read by Chuck Palahniuk, who declared it “wild-ass awesome!” Wildman is currently working on his third novel, The Rock and Roll Virus, which grew out of his short story “The Red River Virus.” As a journalist, he has appeared on Fox News, NPR and "All Things Considered" and interviewed numerous stars of music, film, literature and comedy including: David Bowie, Bono, Harrison Ford, Nicholas Cage, Oliver Stone, Michael Ondaatje and Bob Saget. He teaches guitar, piano and voice, runs a recording fantasy camp for teens called Signed! and fronts the alt rock band Darktown.
