David Zorn

President of The Art Institute of Colorado

David C. Zorn has served as president of The Art Institute of Colorado since 1996 and brings more than 30 years of industry experience in private, post-secondary education to the role. Mr. Zorn’s responsibilities include providing leadership for the college, overseeing program development, designing and executing long-range planning objectives and academic programs. In his time as president he has helped the school to grown to offer more than 17 Bachelor of Arts degree programs, seven Associate of Applied Science programs and eight diploma programs. The college has more than 2400 enrolled students, roughly 400 faculty and staff, two campus locations and student housing residencies in the greater Denver area.

Mr. Zorn served as Regional Vice President of Education Management Corporation from 2003 to 2005, providing overall leadership for a 5800-student region of diverse institutions with academic offerings ranging from doctorate to certificate programs. He currently holds the title of The Education Foundation president, a non-profit organization established in 2000 to offer scholarships supporting students interested in attending or continuing their education at one of the following Education Management Corporation school systems: The Art Institutes, Argosy University, South University or Brown Mackie College.
Mr. Zorn has completed Doctorate coursework in Education and holds a Masters in Business Administration from NOVA Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He completed Bachelor of Arts studies in Economics & Business at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pa.
