Della Britton is the president and CEO of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, a national college scholarship program distinctive for its dual approach of granting generous financial assistance over four years while providing comprehensive support services, including curriculum and career guidance, internships and permanent employment opportunities and the imparting of practical life skills.

A lawyer and entertainment sector executive for most of her career, Britton served as president of Hillside Publishing and AJM Records (a Grammy award-winning, independent record label responsible for launching the career of pop sensation Ashanti). She was also assistant general attorney for the American Broadcasting Companies, Inc., an associate with the law firm of Covington & Burling, and served as a member of the New York Times Institutional Task Force on Race Relations. She has served on many boards, including Inwood House (NYC), the Dance Theatre of Harlem (NYC), and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law (Washington, D.C.).
