Diamonte Hamlett

Book Lover

Diamonte is an indiscriminate lover of books. She admires the modern works of writers like Amy Tan, Bernice McFadden and Jeffrey Eugenides, but also enjoys the works of writers such as Edith Wharton, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Ayn Rand, Ray Bradbury and Oscar Wilde. She believes reading is a gateway to understanding a world in which life imitates words and words often imitate life. As a mother of two young girls, she believes it is important to lead by example when it comes to stressing the importance of reading. For this reason, she is often seen with a book in her hand.
When she is not working in education compliance, Diamonte maintains a blog where she muses on life what it means to be truly free.
