Dion Clarke

Founder, Harlem Fine Arts Show

Dion Clarke, born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, received a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Gannon University and an MBA in marketing and finance from Atlanta University in Georgia. Dion is presently the CEO and president of New York-based JWD Enterprises, Inc., founded in 2003, a diversity marketing company. He is also the founder of the Harlem Fine Arts Show and the African American Theater Night, a traveling educational and theatrical production for schools, civic and social organizations that highlights multicultural history and relationships in American society.

Clarke worked as a news assistant and street reporter for Storer Broadcasting at WHN-AM Radio and was a marketing and advertising sales executive for Black Enterprise Magazine, Essence Magazine and Gannett Corporation. He has worked for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Ford Motor Company, Lincoln-Mercury Division and the Pitney Bowes Corporation. Clarke, father of three, and his physician wife reside in Westchester County. He is an avid swimmer and sports fan and enjoys giving back to his community by working with local youth organizations.
