Dr. Johnson is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the UCSD School of Medicine and a lead scientist for the OptiBrain consortium. Dr. Johnson’s lab focuses on operational neuroscience, with emphasis on performance under stress and recovery in special operations forces. OptiBrain is a collaboration of cognitive neuroscientist at UCSD, the Naval Health Research Center, and Naval Special Warfare Command dedicated to understanding the brains of elite performers.
