Dr. Gregory Kaliss is a visiting assistant professor of history at Dickinson College and author of Menโs College Athletics and the Politics of Racial Equality: Five Pioneer Stories of Black Manliness, White Citizenship and American Democracy. He is currently exploring the varied social and political activism of African American athletes in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
