Dr. Sheldon Schuster is the president of Keck Graduate Institute (KGI), the seventh and newest member of The Claremont Colleges consortium. Its mission is to further education and research aimed at translating into practice, for the benefit of society, the power and potential of the life sciences. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), on the board of directors of the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), and serves as a commissioner for WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).
