Dr. Sudip Bose, MD

Dr. Sudip Bose, MD, is one of America’s most experienced doctors in the medical arenas of emergency medicine, mass casualty, disaster care and PTSD. He is a former major in the US Army and an Iraq war veteran and served as the US physician who treated Saddam Hussein after his capture, for which he was honored as a "CNN Hero”. He is a health advocate, veterans advocate, professor, public speaker and entrepreneur.

Dr. Bose enlisted in the military and served for 12 years. Dr. Bose has been awarded numerous medals such as the Combat Medical Badge for participating in combat operations under enemy hostile fire. He was awarded The Bronze Star for serving one of the longest combat tours by a physician since World War II and as one of the sole front-line physicians in the Second Battle of Fallujah.

Currently, Dr. Bose splits his time between Midland/Odessa, TX and Chicago, IL. He is a practicing emergency physician at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX and serves as the City Medical Director for Odessa. He serves as Clinical Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. While serving on faculty as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, he co-founded several leading medical education companies. He authored the 600 page textbook, “High Yield Emergency Medicine” that trains doctors on the standard of care and was accepted into the Library of Congress as a leading medical textbook. Dr. Bose's online medical content & textbook has trained over 1 million physicians including several hundred medical leaders. He is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of liveClinic Inc. The LiveClinic technology platform provides an end-to-end solution to manage physician practices effectively, and enhance the quality of patient care through electronic health records, tele-health, and other tools. For his outstanding work in medicine, Dr. Bose has been recognized as one of the “World’s Leading Physicians” as well as one of “America’s Healthcare Leaders.”

Dr. Bose appears frequently on various media outlets and has over 1000 media appearances. He was a co-host in an ongoing weekly health segment on CBS news, he was a guest and consultant for “The Dr. Oz Show” and has been a featured physician on the television show “Untold Stories of the ER.”

Dr. Bose also continues to serve his country. His military experience influenced him to start TheBattleContinues.org, a nonprofit charity that helps veterans and educates the public on healthcare. Dr. Bose enjoys giving back and educating others. He regularly gives lectures around the nation to raise awareness on the issues that veterans face upon return from war. Dr. Bose is a firm believer that our health is our single most important asset. The organization that he founded also promotes healthy living and awareness on health care issues so that people can make better-informed decisions regarding their health. Dr. Bose received his bachelor's degree in biology and psychology from Northwestern University then went on to earn his MD degree from Northwestern University - Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, TX, the busiest emergency room in the United States military. During this time, he achieved the top score in the nation among over 3650 test-takers in over 120 residency programs nationwide on the American Board of Emergency Medicine Intraining Examination.
