Erlanger A. Turner, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Houston-Downtown

Dr. Erlanger Turner, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant professor of psychology at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD). Dr. Turner is the Director of the Race, Culture and Mental Health Research Lab at UHD. He teaches courses on clinical psychology and multicultural issues such as cultural competency in clinical practice and racism. Additionally, he has published research articles on access to behavioral health services, health equity, cultural competency, and mental health disparities.
