Economic and Community Development Institute

The Economic and Community Development Institute (ECDI) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit economic development organization; a U.S Small Business Administration intermediary micro-lender in 49 counties throughout Ohio; and U.S. Treasury designated Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a mission of investing in people to create measurable and enduring social and economic change. This mission is achieved by providing small business training and technical assistance; grants to individual fee accounts, financial literacy training, down payment assistance to first-time home buyers, micro-loans for small businesses, emergency home repair, and consulting services.
