Award-winning author Dr. Elana Maryles Sztokman, Founding Director of The Center for Jewish Feminism, is a Jewish feminist activist and feminist thought leader. Elana's award-winning books include The Men’s Section: Orthodox Jewish Men in an Egalitarian World, which won the 2012 National Jewish Book Council Award for Women's Studies, Educating in the Divine Image: Gender Issues in Orthodox Jewish Day Schools, which won the 2013 National Jewish Book Council Award for Education (co-authored with Chaya Gorsetman), and the newly released The War on Women in Israel: A Story of Religious Radicalism and the Women fighting for Freedom. She lives in Modi'in Israel and travels around the world speaking and working with people on gender inclusion in their organizations communities.
