Elise Jones is a former Microsoft diversity strategist pursuing a master’s in psychology en route to a career in workplace effectiveness research and education. Elise came to academia after 10 years in the high-tech industry, during which she served in various product management roles, established customer advocacy programs, and led the diversity effort for Microsoft’s Mobile Communications Business. Elise is a recipient of Microsoft's Business Empowered by Diversity Award.

Elise authored a study examining stigma associated with the use of corporate work-life programs and has been published in Psychology for Business Success. Her research interests incorporate themes from personality, gender, and positive psychology as well as organizational effectiveness and change.

Elise resides with her husband and two children in southeastern Connecticut, where she is an active participant in her faith community and a ukulele-strumming public school volunteer.
