Elnaz Moghangard is an Iranian-American blogger, writer, and advocate for self-empowerment. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Atlanta, she has an affinity for the California breeze and southern chicken biscuits.
Growing up, she always realized the power of imagination and the need for freedom of expression. She considers both to be key ingredients for self-awareness and innovative problem-solving.
Combining her love for writing and her fascination with global human interaction, she graduated in May 2015 from the University of Miami with a B.A. in International Studies and minors in Journalism/Business Law. She believes that in a rapidly changing, high-tech society, effective communication is becoming increasingly important in all areas of life -whether it be personal, political or social. One such way to encourage open dialogue, peacemaking and compassion is through the power of storytelling.
She currently attends George Washington University Law School and is the founder of Millennial Nomaad —a creative empowerment blog capturing the roaming thoughts, lifestyle & culture of an aspiring adult. By sharing her perspective on life and daring to try new things, she hopes to inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and to fulfill their own potential.
In her spare time, she can be found at the nearest coffee shop reading Rumi poetry or working on her blog Millennial Nomaad, while listening to The Weeknd and Hans Zimmer soundtracks.
