High school participant in Global Citizen Year
Emily Hanna is a 2012 Global Citizen Year Fellow, living in Senegal on a bridge year before college. A life-long resident of Seattle, Emily was inspired to take a gap year by her involvement as a volunteer counselor at YMCA Camp Orkila and her experiences teaching school in rural Cambodia in the spring of 2010. Currently completing her Global Citizen Year in Sebikotane, Senegal, Emily hopes to pursue a career in education and reproductive rights focusing on women in the developing world.
