Eric Yaverbaum co-founded 21 year old Jericho Communications and served as President from 1985 until it's successful merger in 2006 with LIME public relations and promotions. At the time, Jericho was ranked nationally as the 11th best agency in the country to work for. He started and still runs his second agency, Ericho Communications ten years ago and maintains offices in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. He is a regular on the lecture circuit, speaking to professional organizations and universities across the country. He also is a frequent talk show guest on national and regional television and radio programs, including weekly appearances on Fox News and MSNBC. Yaverbaum writes for the Washington Post and Huffington Post and has appeared on everything from CBS This Morning to The Today Show to CNN to Larry King Live. He co-authored the best-selling book I’ll Get Back to You (McGraw Hill, Dec. 1998). Yaverbaum is also the author of the first and second editions of Public Relations Kit For Dummies (Wiley Books, Feb. 2001 and March 2006). He wrote his third book, Leadership Secrets of the World’s Most Successful CEOs (Dearborn, March 2004), which sold slightly over one million copies. . His fifth book was Everything Leadership (Adams, May 2008). Yaverbaum’s last book was co-authored with his 24 year old daughter Cole, Life's Little College Admissions Insights (Morgan James, January 2010). Eric was an active member of the highly selective Young President’s Organization, where he was the Chapter Chairman of the Gotham Chapter in New York City. Eric’s widely acclaimed “Walk A Mile in My Shoes” campaign helped push increased spending on stem cell research through the house and led to his being named one of the heroes of public relations industry by industry bible, PR Week. His educational environmental website and the Tappening water bottles sold there were touted as one of the hottest and trendiest products of 2008 by Good Morning America.
