Erin B. Cooper, M.A. is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at Temple University and received her M.A. from Temple and her B.A. from Kenyon College. She developed the Faking Orgasm Scale for Women (Cooper, Fenigstein, & Fauber, under review), the only assessment tool available to evaluate women’s motives for faking orgasm during sexual intercourse and oral sex. In addition to studying faked orgasms, Erin was a member of the DSM-V field trial for Hypersexual Disorder. Erin’s research and clinical interests also include relationships and couples therapy. In addition to therapy and research, Erin teaches courses on Human Sexuality and Intimate Relationships at Temple University.
