Ethan Bernstein is an assistant professor of leadership and organizational behavior at the Harvard Business School. His teaching and research address topics related to leadership, collaboration, teamwork, design thinking, and learning in organizations. He is currently conducting several large empirical studies on the relationship between transparency and productivity (see www.hbs.edu/ebernstein for details). He is author of "The Transparency Trap," a recently published article in the Harvard Business Review, and "The Transparency Paradox," an award-winning article in the Administrative Science Quarterly.
