Fabiola Inzunza

Intern at the UCLA Dream Resource Center, Contributor to the DREAMers Blog Series

Fabiola Inzunza has been organizing for immigrant rights since 2004, when she discovered other undocumented youth at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she studied International Development. She was co-chair of the organization Improving Dreams, Equality, Access, and Success (IDEAS), a support and advocacy group for undocumented youth at UCLA. Fabiola was a contributing author for the book Underground Undergrads: UCLA Undocumented Immigrant Students Speak Out. She is also the editor for the upcoming publication, Undocumented and Unafraid: Tam Tran, Cinthya Felix, and the Immigrant Youth Movement, a book that honors and captures the immigrant youth movement during a phase of growth. Recently, she joined Dream Team Los Angeles as the Policy lead with a focus on the California Dream Act, a victory she has been working towards since 2005. Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Fabiola grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She is a contributor to the HuffPost LatinoVoices DREAMers Blog Series.
