Frances Katz received her J.D. from The New England School of Law in May 2008 and worked in the cyberlaw clinic at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School. She studied Chinese law and world intellectual property law at Tsinghua University School of Law in Beijing and journeyed across China by train to travel in Tibet.
She also holds degrees from Boston University and Harvard University. Frances is also an award-winning journalist who writes about international law and policy along with media and entertainment law and trends. She was a staff writer for The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Boston Herald and MediaDaily.com. Her work has also appeared in Wired News, The New York Post, The New York Times CyberTimes, PopPolitics.com and PopMatters.com. Frances lives in Atlanta, but was born and raised in the Red Sox Nation and Boston will always be her home.
