Franklyn Wu teaches at Dharma Realm Buddhist University (DRBU) and coordinates their accreditation efforts. DRBU (www.drbu.org) is a liberal arts college with "Great Books" style instruction located in Mendocino County in Northern California. Previously, Franklyn worked as a senior consultant at Strategic Business Insight (a spin-off of Stanford Research Institute) advising Fortune 500 clients on technology trends and long-range planning. He also worked in Silicon Valley as a research and development engineer at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) after receiving his master's degree in material science and engineering from Stanford University. He received a B.Sc. Honour from McGill University in mathematics and physics. Franklyn was born and grew up in Taiwan and moved to California at 14 to attend the only Buddhist high school in North America. The high school is affiliated with DRBU.
