Gail Reed

Ms. Reed is Executive Editor of MEDLINE-indexed MEDICC Review journal, publishing research by Cuban and other developing-country health professionals. Reed is founder of Medical Education Cooperation with Cuba, a US non-profit promoting cooperation among the US, Cuban and global health communities, where she is currently Research Director. She produced ¡Salud!, winner of the Council on Foundation’s Henry Hampton Award for Excellence in Film; and authored Denial of Food and Medicine: The Impact of the US Embargo on Health and Nutrition in Cuba. Ms. Reed holds an MS in journalism from Columbia University.
