Gary M. Burge (Ph.D., Aberdeen University, Scotland) is a professor of New Testament in the Department of Theology at Wheaton College and Graduate School. Gary has authored a numerous books and articles on theology and the New Testament. He also specializes in the Middle East, its churches and its history in the Greek and Roman periods. His book, Whose Land? Whose Promise? (2003, 2013), received generous recognition from national journals. His book Jesus and the Land: The New Testament Challenge to Holy Land Theology (2010) explores the intersection of theology and the politics of Christian Zionism.
