Dawn Carroll is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Over My Shoulder Foundation. The mentoring non-profit was co-founded with Grammy award winning artist, Patti Austin. The vision behind this foundation is to musically weave together the message that without support, and emotional sustenance we can become lost, disconnected, and unstable—as individuals and as a society. Dawn has inspired programs and events including the MIDDIES, which ask people to stop and pay tribute to those who helped navigate them to success. The OMSF aims to celebrate, nominate, and reward mentors and mentees: a new cadre of creative talent which will have the leadership skills to amend many of our social and economic crises.
