Heather Arnet is the writer/director of the documentary film, "Madame Presidenta: Why Not U.S.?" which explores the question of how so many other countries have come to elect a female president prior to the United States. Arnet is also the CEO of the Women and Girls Foundation (www.wgfpa.org) and former Board Chair of the Ms. Foundation for Women (www.forwomen.org). Arnet advocates on the local, state and federal levels for increased female representation in government and more inclusive work policies. Currently she is leading the Pennsylvania state campaign for paid family & medical leave. A tireless champion and thought leader for gender equity, Arnet first made national headlines with a "Girlcott" she led against Abercrombie and Fitch in 2005. She has been published in the Huffington Post, Daily Beast, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Pittsburgh Business Times, and has been interviewed live on NBCโs Today Show, CNN, Huffington Post Live, Fox News, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NPR.
