Heather Derry

Doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, Ohio State University

Heather Derry, M.A., is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Ohio State University, with research training at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research. As a Pelotonia Graduate Fellow, Heather's dissertation research focused on the role of physical fitness in cancer-related cognitive problems. Her research interests also include addressing how lifestyle factors, health-related perceptions, and relationships impact one's mental and physical well-being. She is currently completing her clinical health psychology internship at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA, where she is training in women's addictions treatment, primary care-mental health integration, and geropsychology settings.
