Henrik Ek is a freelance writer, working out of Stockholm, Sweden, but with close ties to the US after having spent the last ten years in New York. He began his career on the sports beat at a local daily in Gavle, north of Stockholm. After journalism training trough the Swedish armed forces Henrik got a job at newspaper Expressen before moving to New York to pursue a freelance career. During those years he mainly worked as a stringer for different Swedish news organisations. Most interesting field to cover today, if you ask Henrik, is the tech industry.
