Henry M. Banta is an attorney with the Washington, DC, law firm of Lobel, Novins, and Lamont, LLP. After graduating of Georgetown Law Center he worked for the Federal Trade Commission. He served as counsel to the Senate Antitrust and Monopoly Subcommittee under Chairman Philip A. Hart (D. Mich.) and then as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee under Chairman Edward M. Kennedy (D. Mass.). He published a number of articles on economic issues in the Nieman Watchdog and Tax Notes.
