Writer, editor, and PR and Global Media Strategist
Holly Peppe is a writer, editor, and PR and Global Media Strategist who promotes causes, individuals and non-profits in the U.S. and abroad through profile development, branding and media outreach. As Chief Writer and U.N. liaison for the nonprofit medical group ORBIS International, she directed public awareness campaigns about blindness in the U.S., Canada, Cuba, Nicaragua, Romania, Bulgaria, India and China.
Peppe spent her former life in academia, teaching poetry and writing and directing the English department at the American College of Rome. En route to a doctorate in literature, she edited the Penguin Classics and Harper’s editions of Edna St. Vincent Millay’s poems—she now serves as the poet’s Literary Executor. Peppe’s own poetry, essays, translations and articles appear in various books and publications.
In 2012, she published two books for young adults with Scholastic. In 2013, after working closely with Eve Branson for the better part of a decade, editing 900 pages of her diaries, Peppe published Mum’s the Word, a memoir about Eve’s life that includes her role as mother to Richard Branson, one of the world’s most colorful entrepreneurs.
