Ilana Winter

Fashion Historian

Ilana Winter is in a Fashion Historian and Archivist. She is a recent graduate from the Visual Culture: Costume Studies M.A. program at NYU. Hailing from California, she grew a passion for costume history from dressing up Barbie dolls and exploring the Huntington Library. She’s worked as an archivist for Tory Burch, with the History Center of San Luis Obispo County, the Museum of Performance and Design, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She curated Bells, Belles, and Beaux: Wedding Traditions in SLO County from 1870s-1950s at the History Center of SLO County and co-curated Double Vision: Duality in Dress at 80WSE Gallery. She currently resides in Brooklyn, where she enjoys rooftops and brunching.
