International Rescue Committee

A Global Leader in Humanitarian Assistance

Founded in 1933 at the suggestion of Albert Einstein, the International Rescue Committee is a global leader in humanitarian assistance, offering help and hope to millions of refugees and others uprooted by conflict and oppression in 42 countries. During crises, IRC teams provide medical care, shelter, clean water, sanitation and special services for women and children. As emergencies subside, the IRC stays to revive livelihoods and help shattered communities recover and rebuild. The IRC also helps resettle refugees admitted into the United States. A tireless advocate for the most vulnerable, the International Rescue Committee is committed to restoring hope, dignity and opportunity. For more information, visit www.theIRC.org
