Iyah Romm

Iyah Romm is a medical student at Boston University. He has an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University where he studied biology and health policy. Iyah is the Immediate-Past Chair of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA)'s Health Care for All Steering Committee, and a student leader of Physicians for a National Health Program. He has professional experience in both public- and private-sector health policy and administration, including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Iyah is a founding Editor of ReformsKool, AMSA's weekly health care reform digest, in addition to authoring numerous articles and policy papers. He has worked on topics of medical and undergraduate education, culturally appropriate care, end-of-life care, health care financing, community-based education, humanitarian response, and post-disaster recovery.
