Jessica Bolaños Vanegas is the Director of Digital Media at Goodspero in Houston, Texas. She co-founded the social media and digital media content creation team while obtaining her degree in Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston's Bauer College of Business. She has been devoted to using digital media for social impact for over a decade. A freelance writer, videographer, photographer and 360° VR (virtual reality) storyteller among other creative avenues, Jessica crafts experiences combining audio, visuals, music, art and digital storytelling. In 2013 Jessica came on board the TEDxHouston and TEDxYouth@Houston digital content teams. She sits on the board of HAHMP (the Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals) as Social Media Chair, supporting student journalists and media professionals with college scholarships. She's also a mentor at the UH Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship. Jessica is dedicated to teaching, inspiring and working with others on ways to use digital media for social business, supporting social and economic empowerment initiatives, as well as producing content on the topics of business, entrepreneurship, immigration, refugees, tech, the arts and introversion.
