J. Kelly Conklin, 59, lives in Glen Ridge NJ. with his wife and business co-owner Kathryn W. Schackner. In 1978 he and Ms Schackner founded Foley-Waite Associates, an architectural woodworking firm located in Bloomfield, NJ. Conklin attended Rochester Institute of Technology, The School for American Craftsman and Schackner is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Art. They have a daughter 28 years old, Louisa Gray Conklin. Conklin serves as chairman of the Glen Ridge Planning Board, is a member of the Executive Committee of the Main Street Alliance and was a founding board member of New Jersey Policy Perspective a non-partisan New Jersey based think tank.
