Jacqueline Sansour is a writer and editor with extensive knowledge of the history, politics, and current affairs of the Middle East and North Africa. She has spent extended periods of time in the Arab world, including three years in Palestine, where she produced 90 one-minute radio features on life and faith for a radio station in the US, and in Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia, where she worked as an editor, researcher, and journalist. Jacqueline, originally from Phoenix, Arizona, is currently the commissioning editor for Al-Shabaka. She holds an MA in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS in London, where she currently resides.
