Jake Threadgould is a freelance writer and photographer currently based in Madrid. Throughout 2013/14 he travelled throughout the Middle East paying particular attention to the Kurdish regions of Iraq and Turkey for a photographic essay published by Rough Guide before heading onto Iran.
