CEO, Victory Education Partners
James Stovall is the Chief Executive Officer of Victory Education Partners. He was a lawyer in private practice when he advised Parents for School Choice, and successfully lobbied for passage of New York State's Charter School Act. After that, he dedicated his career to education reform and joined Victory as its General Counsel. Stovall attended public schools in North Chicago and is a graduate of Howard University & Howard University School of Law. He is also a graduate of the Broad Residency in Urban Education, a national and highly selective two-year management development program that recruits and trains emerging leaders for senior management positions in public education. Stovall is a former board member of the New York Chapter of the Black Alliance for Education Options and is married with two young children.
