James Pankiewicz

I am an amateur photographer based in Southern Maryland. In my everyday life I am actually a college student. Photography provides my escape from the realms of academia. While my main focus is automotive photography I have been gradually expanding my horizons and now have a deep appreciation for all kinds of photography.

I first became interested in photography through my passion for automobiles. This is a passion which still has a strong grip on me; causing me to spend my weekends wrenching on cars, attending car meets, visiting my local racetracks and above all else, photographing cars. The one thing that I have learned to appreciate is the vast culture that is circled around cars.

To me a car is not just a mode of transportation, it is a form of art and I intend to capture it as such.
