Janice Jucker

Co-owner, Three Brothers Bakery

Janice Jucker, co-owner of Three Brothers Bakery along with her husband, Robert, and Aunt Estelle, joined the fifth-generation family business, to modernize the almost 65-year-old bakery. Jucker’s background is in sales and marketing, having sold complex telecommunications solutions to Fortune 10 companies. Armed with knowledge she gained from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, she helped put a growth plan in place for the business, aiming to open a store every year for five years, with 2013 bringing the bakery’s third store to life. As a breast cancer survivor, Jucker serves on the board of the Houston Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, and is a second time spokesperson for its Race for the Cure. Recent awards Jucker is most proud of include 2013 Marketer of the Year - Food Packaging Division by the American Marketing Association’s Houston Chapter, 2013 Small Family Business of the Year by the Small Business Administration Houston District, 2013 Retail Bakery of the Year by Modern Baking Magazine, "Best Mail Order Pecan Pie America has to Offer " by Country Living Magazine and 2009 Woman Business Owner of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners Houston Chapter.
