Co-Founder and President, Jewish World Watch

Jewish World Watch (JWW) is a leading organization in the fight against genocide and mass atrocities. For more than two decades prior to founding Jewish World Watch, Janice practiced law as a partner with the firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler and Marmaro. In the 1970s Janice was Executive Director of the Commission on Soviet Jewry for the Jewish Federation. As a lawyer, Janice served as President of California Women Lawyers, the statewide women’s bar association; she was also President of the California Women’s Law Center, a public interest organization advocating for the rights of women and girls. Janice has served as a trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar and of the California State Bar’s Trust Fund, and is currently a Commissioner serving on the Los Angeles County Economy and Efficiency Commission.
