Jay Angoff

Jay Angoff is a partner with the Washington, DC law firm Mehri & Skalet, PLLC. He served as the first Director of the Office of Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight at HHS, as Senior Advisor to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, and as an HHS Regional Director. He has also served as Insurance Commissioner of Missouri, where he chaired Missouri’s Commission on State Health Insurance and served as Vice-Chair of Missouri’s Exchange for state workers. In addition, Mr. Angoff has served as Deputy Insurance Commissioner of New Jersey and Vice President for Strategic Planning of Insure.com, an internet-based insurance brokerage and quotation service.
