Jeffrey Adduci

Jeffrey Adduci has been a leader in America’s entrepreneurial company marketplace since 1988. His experience includes 16-year tenure with The Regional Investment Bankers Association (RIBA), a national trade association of NASD (FINRA) member firms principally engaged in small-issuer equity underwritings. Jeffrey was appointed RIBA President in 1993, a position he held until his departure in 2004. During his tenure, he executed a successful restructure of RIBA gaining non-profit status in 1994; coordinated, produced and hosted over 70 investment banking conferences showcasing over 2,000 emerging growth companies and featuring a “who’s who” of industry, regulatory and legislative leaders; assisted RIBA underwriters in the completion of some 800 equity financings totaling approximately $8 B in capital raised from 1994-2000; initiated a self-directed outreach program to establish a dialogue and build a working rapport with industry, regulatory and legislative leaders; organized grassroots lobbying campaigns and partnered with other industry organizations on policy and market related initiatives; and orchestrated a strategy to enhance the industry recognition of the association, its NASD member firms, and the small-issuer market at large.

He was recognized as a proactive leader and representative voice championing the need to provide America’s emerging companies with a vital and healthy small-issuer market. As a result of his committed advocacy, Jeffrey was appointed and served on several NASD and NASDAQ related committees and was a frequent featured speaker and panelist at industry forums sponsored by the NASAA, NASD, NASDAQ, SEC and the SIA. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of The Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Regulatory Fairness Program. Since 2004, Jeffrey has primarily been engaged in the research, formation and advancement of US and global SME and investor initiatives.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, he held teaching positions on the secondary and university levels in the US and in Europe. Jeffrey has also worked in theatre administration and arts management providing services to individuals, theatre groups, and dance companies. He earned his undergraduate degree in American Studies, a graduate degree in Theatre Arts, and was awarded a doctoral fellowship in American Popular Culture.
