Actress, known for role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon series "iCarly" and "Sam & Cat"
Best known for her comedic portrayal of Sam Puckett on the mega-hit Nickelodeon series "iCarly" and "Sam & Cat," Jennette McCurdy will next be seen switching gears starring on the highly anticipated Netflix drama series "Between."
McCurdy was met recently seen doing a guest-star role on the popular IFC series "The Birthday Boys." She also lent her voice in the upcoming animated feature film Almost Heroes. Adding to her body of work, McCurdy has guest-starred on shows such as "Ben and Kate, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Mad TV," "Law & Order: SVU," "Medium," "Judging Amy," "Victorious," and "Malcolm in the Middle."
Always a fan favorite, McCurdy received her first Teen Choice nomination for Choice TV: Sidekick in 2009 and took home blimps for “Favorite TV Sidekick” at the 2011 and 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards, alongside iCarly's Favorite TV show three-peat.
McCurdy is devoted to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and in 2011 performed on a nationwide tour to raise money for the organization, which exceeded her fundraising goal by bringing in nearly $140,000 for the charity. Since then, St. Jude has made Jennette a partner and official ambassador of their hospital.
She was raised in Garden Grove, California, which is not too far away from her current home, Los Angeles.
