Jesse is an author, fine fine-art photographer and public speaker. His eponymously named company, Kalisher, is the only company of its kind owned and run by artists – he founded the company along with his wife Helen who is a fine arts graduate of The Chelsea College of Arts in London. Before emerging as a photographer, Kalisher penned opinion columns for a San Francisco Newspaper and for Brandweek Magazine. He’s been a frequent contributor to a range of NPR programs including Marketplace and The Savvy Traveler and has lectured on photography, art and creativity across the globe. His novel, SUCH IS LIFE was published earlier this year and he has two photography collections available as books as well, IF YOU FIND THE BUDDHA (Chronicle Books, 2005), ONE WORLD (Bramwell Publishing, 2014). Kalisher is a graduate of Northwestern University and lives with his family in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
